Privacy policy

The short version: your photos are never uploaded anywhere. All image processing happens inside your own browser. We have no server that receives your images, and we cannot see them.
1. Your photos stay on your device
DrillPattern converts images to diamond painting charts using the HTML5 Canvas API running entirely in your browser. The photo you select is read from your device, processed in memory, and never transmitted over the network. If you open the tool and then disconnect from the internet, every feature continues to work.
We do not operate an image upload endpoint. There is no copy of your photo on any server belonging to us.
2. What is stored in your browser
The tool uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember your preferences between visits. This data never leaves your device and is only readable by this website.

You can clear all of this at any time from your browser's settings (clear site data / clear browsing data). Doing so resets your language, panel position and saved progress.
3. Cookies and advertising
This site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If advertising is displayed on this site, it is served by third-party advertising networks, and those networks may use cookies.
Where Google AdSense is used: third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
4. Analytics
We may use privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views and see which countries visitors come from. This kind of analytics does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individual visitors, and does not track you across other websites.
5. What we do not collect
- We do not collect, store, or transmit the images you load into the tool.
- We do not require an account, email address, or any personal details to use the tool.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties.
6. Links to other sites
This site may link to external websites — for example, suppliers where you can buy drills or canvases. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
7. Children's privacy
This site is a general-audience craft tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. The preference data described in section 2 lives only in your own browser and is fully under your control.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if new features require different data handling — the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
